“What does not reproduce does not deserve to exist.”

Overview

Tharos is the god who began the chain of life, and he demands that it never stop. He does not simply create life; he compels it to spread, multiply, and endure through lineage. To Tharos, existence has one sacred truth: what does not reproduce does not deserve to exist.

He represents unchecked creation, legacy, and the relentless drive for continuation through blood and inheritance. Where others see life as sacred, Tharos sees it as something that must prove its right to continue by expansion.

He is indifferent to suffering if it results in continuation, treating extinction as the only true sin. Under his gaze, the individual is nothing; the bloodline is everything.

Where Vaesyne struggles to sustain and Skelra seeks to end, Tharos demands unchecked growth.

Personality & Philosophy

Commanding, fertile, and overwhelming, Tharos does not ask; he demands continuation. He is not cruel, but he is indifferent to suffering if it results in expansion. To him, extinction is the only true sin.

He values legacy over individuality, strength through lineage, and growth without hesitation. Every action under his gaze must serve the continuation of the bloodline.

He is uncompromisingly indifferent to individual pain. To him, the survival of the species and the expansion of the dynasty are the only metrics of success.

Core Values

  • Legacy over individuality
  • Strength through lineage
  • Growth without hesitation
  • Continuation at all costs

Role Within the Veil Compact

Tharos is one of the primary destabilizers of the natural cycle. He pushes life beyond natural limits, encouraging rapid expansion, unchecked reproduction, and dominance through lineage.

His influence leads to overpopulation, unnatural survival, and strain on the world. This forces Skelra to respond with harsher, more absolute death, while Vaesyne struggles to sustain what Tharos creates.

Tharos does not seek balance—he seeks continuation at any cost. Left unchecked, he risks breaking the life cycle entirely, creating a world where nothing dies and everything suffers.

The conceptual diagram above illustrates the tension within the Axis of Life. Tharos's relentless push for expansion strains the cycle, forcing Skelra and Vaesyne into unsustainable compensation.
